Simon A. Mikhailovich

Simon Mikhailovich is a co-founder and the managing partner of TBR and a member of the TBR Board of Directors.

Mr. Mikhailovich is an entrepreneur and contrarian investor who predicted and profited from the financial crises of 2000 and 2008. Prior to co-founding TBR in 2013, Mr. Mikhailovich co-founded Eidesis Capital, a special situations investment firm. Between 1998 and 2014, the Eidesis team deployed over $2.5B of capital through special opportunity funds focused on high yield corporate bonds and loans, credit derivatives, distressed CDOs and MBS, and gold.

Previously, Mr. Mikhailovich was a Portfolio Manager at Falcon Asset Management overseeing alternative investments in hard assets, including oil and gas properties, timberlands and agribusiness. During the credit cycle of the early 1990s, he headed a workouts’ team responsible for restructuring multiple businesses in North America and Europe.

Mr. Mikhailovich received a M.S. in Business (Finance) from the University of Baltimore and a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University.

Anna Mikhailovich Neumeyer

Anna Mikhailovich Neumeyer is the Director of Operations responsible for client services, trading and day-to-day operations at TERA Management and TBR.

Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Mrs. Neumeyer worked as a senior project manager at the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), a national association representing 6,000 geriatrics healthcare professionals. At AGS, her responsibilities included managing the Society’s external strategic relationships; member communications; fundraising and budgeting; drafting public comment letters and testimony on legislative and regulatory issues; and organizing conferences.

Mrs. Neumeyer began her career in 2012 at MSLGroup, the global public relations arm of Publicis Groupe, where she worked on the team representing Eli Lilly & Co. She has published several articles.

Mrs. Neumeyer received a B.A. in Public Policy from Hamilton College.

Zoë E. Mikhailovich

Zoë Mikhailovich is the Director of Global Product responsible for product management, vendor relations and client services at TERA Management and TBR.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Ms. Mikhailovich was a Senior Product Manager at Peloton Interactive, the world’s largest interactive fitness platform. Her responsibilities included product management and development, production oversight, vendor management and strategic business planning.

Ms. Mikhailovich began her career in 2015 at the OXO International division of Helen of Troy Limited, a global consumer products company, where she led end-to-end new product development and ongoing product portfolio management. She oversaw the growth of multiple categories, developing and introducing innovative, patented products. Her solutions have received awards from various publications, including Good Design®, Food & Wine and The Boston Globe.

Ms. Mikhailovich received a B.A. in Philosophy (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Hamilton College.

John Hathaway

John Hathaway is a co-founder of TBR, member of the TBR Board of Directors and Advisor to the TBR’s management company.

Mr. Hathaway joined Sprott Asset Management in January 2020. Mr. Hathaway is a Portfolio Manager of Sprott Hathaway Special Situations Strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Sprott Gold Equity Fund. Previously, Mr. Hathaway joined Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. in 1997 where he was a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Tocqueville Gold Fund as well as other investment vehicles in the Tocqueville Gold Equity Strategy. He was also the Portfolio Manager of private funds.

Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. Hathaway co-founded and managed Hudson Capital Advisors followed by seven years with Oak Hall Advisors as the Chief Investment Officer in 1986. In 1976, he joined the investment advisory firm David J. Greene and Company, where he became a Partner. Mr. Hathaway began his career in 1970 as an Equity Analyst with Spencer Trask & Co.

Mr. Hathaway earned a B.A. from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Virginia. Mr. Hathaway was also the Chairman of Tocqueville Management Corporation, the General Partner of Tocqueville. He also holds the CFA® designation.
